ABSTRACT: This study explores the benefits of early childhood education (ECE) in reducing aggression among young children, crucial for creating safe and supportive learning environments. The objectives are to (1) assess the prevalence of aggressive behaviors in ECE settings, (2) evaluate the effectiveness of aggression prevention strategies integrated into ECE curricula, and (3) examine changes in aggression levels influenced by ECE participation. A survey design is justified to collect quantitative data on aggression incidents and qualitative insights into aggression management. A purposive sample of 140 children  from preschools in Nasarawa State was selected. The case study focuses on preschools recognized for their successful aggression reduction initiatives. Findings indicated a decrease in aggression incidents, effective implementation of aggression prevention programs, and positive changes in children's behavior towards peers due to ECE participation. Recommendations include enhancing aggression prevention efforts in ECE settings, promoting conflict resolution skills, and providing training for educators in addressing aggressive behaviors early.
